Loomis Spring Fling

A local downtown business is throwing a big party for the town on Saturday.
The Loomis Spring Fling, sponsored by the Loomis Basin Brewing Company, will feature live music, vendors and exhibitors, food, beverages and kids’ activities, according to Lisa Montes, an event promoter.
The family-friendly event will run from 1 to 8 p.m. at the Train Depot Plaza in downtown Loomis. Bands are Auburn Road, a Christian rock band from Mississippi; and Chico-based “Decades,” whose song list includes rock ’n’ roll from four decades.
Kids’ activities will include a bounce house, rock-climbing wall and a bungee attraction
